Game day, and the rest of the week

The jersey is usually the first thing kids want once they have picked Maryland Terrapins to follow. It is the piece that makes the support feel real to them. It also happens to survive the most wear, which is no coincidence once game day rolls around each week.

How it is made

Pressed detailing gives the Maryland Terrapins jersey an even surface that does not stiffen where the design sits. The fabric still moves the way it did before the graphics went on. Over a season of regular wear, that is what keeps it feeling like a shirt rather than a printed panel.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Maryland Terrapins jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Maryland Terrapins jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Maryland Terrapins jersey are heat-pressed onto the Black fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Can this Maryland Terrapins Football jersey go in the dryer?

Low heat is fine, but this Maryland Terrapins jersey dries fast on a hanger after a cold, inside-out wash, so the dryer is optional. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics — that is the one part of the Black finish that asks for care.

• Does this Maryland Terrapins jersey fit true to size?

The Maryland Terrapins youth cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up. The shoulders sit close and the hem falls at hip level.

• Does this Maryland Terrapins jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Maryland Terrapins jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the Black finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
