Game day, and the rest of the week

For the kid who follows Florida Gators, a jersey is the difference between watching with the family and being part of it. It gives them something to wear on game day while they learn the rules. Most of them keep wearing it long after they have learned them, which is why it stays in the rotation.

How it is made

The Florida Gators jersey is finished so that the surface stays level across the whole front. Large areas of color come out the same shade as small ones, with no ridge where two elements meet. It is a finish that rewards looking closely, and it stays that way after the first wash.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Florida Gators jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Florida Gators jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Florida Gators jersey are heat-pressed onto the Orange fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• How should I wash this Florida Gators Football jersey?

Machine wash this Florida Gators jersey cold and inside out, then hang it to dry, and the Orange stays even through weekly laundry. Avoid ironing directly over the pressed graphics and skip the high-heat dryer. Treated that way, the surface stays smooth wash after wash.

• How does the Orange Florida Gators jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Florida Gators jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the youth size range, while the Orange body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Does this Florida Gators jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Florida Gators jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the Orange finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
