Game day, and the rest of the week

The right size of commitment for a kid who is still deciding how much they care is the UCF Knights jersey. It works for a full season of games and for the days in between. It does not ask them to wear anything else team-colored to make it work.

How it is made

The UCF Knights jersey here keeps a low profile in the hand as well as on the body. Pick it up and the weight is the mesh, not the design. That is the trade a pressed finish makes, and it suits anyone who wants the colors without the extra bulk.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The UCF Knights jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this UCF Knights jersey?

The numerals and letters on this UCF Knights jersey are heat-pressed onto the Black fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Will the Black fade on this UCF Knights jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Black on this UCF Knights jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• What size UCF Knights jersey should I order?

For this UCF Knights jersey, order the usual youth size: close at the shoulder, straight through the body, with length to wear it tucked or out. Anyone between sizes who plans to layer a hoodie underneath in winter usually goes up one.

• Whose name is on the back of this UCF Knights jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this UCF Knights jersey stays plain in the Black colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
