This Northwestern Wildcats collection is compact, holding the essentials and little else. You will find football, baseball and soccer on the shelf, with football in front. The color line does not wander: purple, white and black throughout. Buying for more than one person is easier with men's, women's and youth side by side.

Twill lettering is sewn onto the body, which keeps the numbers crisp over time. Buy it with a name on the back, or without. Keep the rivals straight: purple for Northwestern Wildcats, orange and navy for Illinois Fighting Illini. First-time buyers usually go with the color; regulars go with the name.
